The public is invited to meet Brian Jean when he comes through the Peace Country in early October.

He will be making a stop in Falher on Oct. 5, and the meeting is tentatively set for 11 a.m. at Bobo’s Restaurant.

The leader of the Wildrose Party is also making stops in High Level and La Crete on October 4, and Peace River, Rycroft and Grand Cache on October 5.

Since the summer, Jean has been hosting a series of ‘On Your Side’ media events to promote his vision of Alberta. This has included toursall over the province, including Airdrie, Athabasca, High Prairie, Stony Plain, Red Deer and Edmonton.

The message on the Wildrose Party website reads, in part:

“Wildrose and Brian Jean are on your side.
“Brian Jean would like to welcome all Albertans who believe in these core values of small government, strong families and safe communities to come hear from Wildrose this summer and make our party even stronger.
“With Brian Jean, Wildrose and all conservatives can make Alberta once again a leader across North America in economic growth, fiscal discipline and in having effective health and education systems.
“Come out to one of our town halls this summer and help build the future of Wildrose and Alberta’s conservative movement.”

Brian Jean was in Falher during the provincial election in 2015, as part of a tour of the Peace Country. Look for a story about Jean’s next visit in a future edition of the Express.
