The owners of Vic’s Car Care and J.A.M. Auto Parts & Farm Supply Ltd./Bumper to Bumper are pleased to announce they have combined their operations to provide expanded lines of products and services.
Rene Houle, the former owner of J.A.M., has moved his operations from building by the Club Alouette into Vic’s Car Care. Victor and Eveline Roy, the owners of Vic’s Car Care, are pleased to have him as part of their company.
“It’s a good move for us to expand our products and services,” says Eveline Roy. “Rene handles the parts department. We were looking for a parts person, so now we’ll be able to provide better service to our customers.”
She also says having more staff means more flexibility and expanded hours of operation.
Houle is pleased he had the opportunity to run his own business, and now he’s looking forward to working in a new and larger setting. The Roys purchased all his inventory and transferred it to their store.
The Roys started their business out of their home in 1979. A year later, they moved into another location, then to their current location in 1998. They plan to hold an open house sometime in the spring.
Vic’s Car Care will continue offering the products and services they have in the past, such as auto, R.V. and holiday trailer accessories, parts and service.
They offer 4 Star Rental Equipment – small engine, Echo Outdoor Equipment and chainsaws and pressure washer sales, parts and service.
They also offer container sales and rentals, as well as towing and storage (from small vehicles to big rig trucks, and they move sheds, too.
Bumper To Bumper parts are being introduced, as well as offering some outdoor sports (quads, snowmobiles and bikes) parts and accessories.
They also have the McWinn Air Filter Cleaning Drop Off Centre and provide golf cart sales, accessories, parts, service and rentals too.
