Smoky River Minor Ball will be hosting the annual slow pitch tournament, which is part of the Honey Festival.
The Honey Festival Committee met at the Falher town office on May 24 and discussed this as part of their meeting.
There is no limit to the number of teams. But the deadline to apply is June 3 and the entry fee is $375 per team. A minimum of three females are required for each team.

Sponsors are still required for the Honey Festival. Sponsorships range from Plantinum to Bronze. Nolette is the contact person for this as well.
In other news, the committee has agreed to set a price of $5 per person for the entertainment in the Falher Curling Rink.
Ariane and Trin will play in the early afternoon of June 18 and Rewind will follow. The $5 entry fee is for both performances.
Those wishing to participate in the 5 km and 10 km walk/run on June 18 are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
