It was the end of the season for the Smoky River Gymnastics Club, and a treat for parents to watch what their children have learned throughout that time.
The Smoky River Gymnastics Club held their fun meet in the main gym at Ecole Routhier on March 19. Six groups of children went through their routines on the balance beam, uneven bars, parallel bars and other equipment under the supervision of their coaches.
The club recruited several judges to evaluate each child’s performance. At the end, each child in their respective group received a certificate of completion and a medal.
The Smoky River Gymnastics Club will resume their program next fall.
