The Falher/Nampa junior girls curling team has come home victorious. They won the gold medal at the provincial championship in Lacombe during the weekend of March 4-6.
They played against Emily Clarke of the Northern Alberta Curling Association in Edmonton to win the championship.
Besides the gold medal, they received team jackets and the Alberta crest.
Coach Charles Simoneau is pleased with his team and says they will wear their team jackets with pride for their next tournament.
They will go to the Optimist U18 International Curling Championships in Edmonton during March 30 to April 3.
