SplashFest really cool!

Kids of all ages cooled off in the summer heat at SplashFest held Aug. 18 in High Prairie. Lesser Slave Watershed Council hosted the event in Jaycee Park to celebrate its 15th anniversary. LSWC provided information about its work to protect and steward the lands and water in the region. Others included High Prairie Fire Department, Big Lakes County Fire Services, the Town of High Prairie, the Children’s Resource Council, High Prairie Municipal Library, and Lesser Slave Forest Education Society.
