Smoky River FCSS
Annual general meeting
On April 20, 2016 Smoky River FCSS will hold its annual general meeting at 7 p.m., in the Town of Falher council chambers.
This meeting is open to the public as well as being attended by current board members, and FCSS staff.
We encourage members of the public to attend to have an idea of what your local FCSS does for the various communities and also be able to ask questions.
During this meeting we vote on a new chairperson and vice chairperson, Sandy Primeau, who is our host municipal representative from the Town of Falher, was our chairperson for the past year. Kathy Marchildon who is a member at large was in the position of vice-chairperson for the past year.
In 2015, the board was full with all member at large positions being filled. The rotating municipal representative, Carmen Ewing from the Village of Girouxville, began her term in November of 2015 and will continue until October of 2016.
Our auditor will also be available at this meeting to answer any questions in regards to our revenues and expenditures. Smoky River FCSS had another successful year in 2015. Should any member of the public wish to view our audited financial documents as well as the annual report may do so by visiting us at our office in the Town of Falher building.
