Lynn Florence is the new manager of Smoky Lanes Bowling in Girouxville, and some changes have been implemented for better customer service and fun.
“We’ve changed the menu and added healthy items, too,” says Florence.
This includes beef dip and Philly cheese steak sandwiches.
The hours of operation will be 1-9 p.m. daily, Tuesday through Saturday. The bowling alley will also be open 12-5 p.m. on Sundays for family bowling and the price is $25 for a family of four.
The monthly tournaments will continue and there will be a coffee league on Tuesday, with a price of $10 for three games. As part of the latter, a free meal will be provided on the last Thursday of the month.
A student league will be held 4-5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The cost is $5 for drop-ins and lessons will be offered in English and French.
