The McLennan RCMP Detachment is requesting the public’s help to solve several recent cases.
On March 29, the RCMP responded to a complaint of a burned pickup truck at the Blue Ridge Campground. The RCMP conducted an investigation and obtained a VIN number.
They identified the vehicle as a 1997 silver Dodge Ram that was stolen from a lot on Highway 49 sometime between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., between March 28 and 29.
Also on March 29, the RCMP responded to a break-and-enter complaint at a Baytex Energy oilfield on Township Road 794 and Range Road 204.
A Seacan container was broken into and various items were stolen.
The incident took place sometime between 3 p.m. on March 25 and 2 p.m. on March 26.
On March 30, the RCMP responded to a residential alarm at a private residence near Jean Cote.
The incident occurred sometime between 1:45 p.m. and 2:20 p.m.
They and members of Peace River Forensic Identification Services conducted a break-and-enter investigation to collect and document evidence.
The RCMP is asking the public to come forward with any information they have about these or other criminal incidents.
