RCMP investigates thefts from vehicles

Express Staff

Over the past month, the McLennan RCMP Detachment has been investigating thefts from unlocked vehicles, says a news release.

Most of them were related to wallet thefts.

The RCMP wishes to remind the public that when you’re not in your vehicle, you should consider locking your doors.

Don’t leave valuable items in plain view.

The RCMP would also like to remind the public to secure and lock your home at all times. If you are planning to be away, have a neighbour or trusted friend check your home.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information about these or other thefts, to contact them at (780) 324-3061.

Alternatively, you can report your information anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). You can also go to their website, found at www.crimestoppers.ab..ca.
