On April 4, the McLennan RCMP Detachment responded to a complaint of robbery in Falher.
The RCMP attended and, upon further investigation, revealed one male wearing dark coloured clothing, a hoodie and sunglasses, assaulted a resident before fleeing the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Police Dog Service attended the scene and at this time, the RCMP is still following leads.
During hours of limited daylight, the public is reminded to enhance personal security by walking in well-lit areas, using a flashlight, wearing reflective clothing and ensuring someone knows where and when you will be out walking.
