Falher Pirates win 11-4 against the Grimshaw Huskies

The Falher Pirates continue their winning ways in the 2018/19 season, and they travelled to Grimshaw on January 4 and won big against the Huskies.

In the first period, Darren Kramer scored a power play goal, while Dallas Brochu, Joel Pelletier and Brennan Walker each scored regular goals. The Huskies’ Spencer Ross scored a power play goal.

The Pirates added four more goals to their tally in the second period, with Dallas Brochu scoring his second and third of the game, with Darren Brochu and Trevor Tokarz scoring as well.

Davis Rose and Cole Diewert scored for the Huskies.

Colter Wiebe scored the Huskies’ fourth and final goal early in the third period, and the Pirates dominated the rest of the game.

Darren Brochu scored a power play goal, his second of the game, while Trevor Mazurek and Kolton Caron rounded out the scoring.

The Pirates won the game 11-4, and they outshot the Huskies 45-32 for the game.

The Pirates’ next home game was on January 11, when they hosted the Manning Comets. Then they travelled to Grande Prairie on January 12 to face the Athletics.
