PICs – Rally for Freedom draws mild interest

There were about 15 attendees at the Rally for Freedom in Peace River Aug. 29.

About 15 people turned out for the Rally for Freedom at the Peace River Provincial Building Aug 29. Organizer Bob Blayone says, “We call upon [Premier] Jason Kenny and the Alberta government to end the Emergency Health Orders, and repeal Bill 10/24.” Blayone believes the government bills curtail personal freedoms, and that the COVID-19 health crisis is overblown. Protestors did not give any speeches or march, but chatted about the issues to anyone who stopped by.

Barb Killkenny of The Bodhi Tree store holds her sign at the protest.
