High Prairie Elementary School celebrated the aboriginal culture on June 2 to mark Aboriginal Day on June 21. Grade 5 students participated in various activities such as the story of powwow and dancing, handgames, crafts with beads, a lesson on the Cree language and storytelling. The day concluded with a school-wide round dance in the gymnasium.
