These weren’t your normal oversized loads found on the highway. Anybody who drove along Highway 2 northward and Highway 49 westward from Donnelly Corner, around lunchtime on May 18, would’ve been able to cast their gaze on three giant turbine blades being transported. Each commercial transport was escorted front and rear by alert vehicles, to ensure other drivers were aware of their presence. A Guy resident alerted the Smoky River Express about the transports on their way through.
