My name is Brody Bandurka, I am 10 years old and attend TA Norris Middle School, in Peace River, Alberta.
I have a passion in Rodeo, which includes riding miniature bareback and bull riding, along with Community sports such as Hockey and Baseball.
This summer, I competed in the Alberta Mini Bareback circuit to hopefully qualify for the Canadian Cup in October 2016.
Throughout the summer, I qualified to represent Alberta as a Junior Finalist at the Canadian Cup in Edson, Alberta. At this two-day event I placed third in Canada, and I have qualified to compete at the firstever JR NFR (Jr National Finals Rodeo) in Las Vegas December 2016 to represent Canada.
I am super happy for my accomplishments, and excited to move forward in my rodeo career.
I am writing you in search of donations and/or sponsorships for my upcoming event. I just received my competitor’s package and the costs to attend the event are going to be very costly. I am hoping to offset the costs for my parents and contribute for my travel expenses.
This four-day event consist of two guaranteed rides, autograph signing sessions, training seminars and a Cowboy Christmas Banquet. The local payments to compete are $250USD, and Banquet cost is $50USD. I will also have upfront costs to travel to Las Vegas of approximately $3,000 for air and hotel for four nights and five days and the cost to print and design my autograph picture sheets.
If you are able to assist in helping me reach my financial goals and attend this international televised event in Las Vegas. It would be a great start to my Rodeo Career by representing Canada and our local Community.
