Winagami Lake Provincial Park between High Prairie and McLennan celebrated Canada Parks Day with an afternoon of activities July 18. Held the third Saturday of July, the day celebrates national, provincial and territorial parks and to encourage people to learn about those natural spaces. The event featured a scavenger hunt, crafts and games, wildlife and outdoor safety, face painting, a photo booth and cake.
