Things are well in hand for the Honey Festival parade, which will be held this Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.
“It’s going to be great like any other year,” says organizer Neomi Sanchez. “Hopefully there will be no rain and people will come out for it.”
More than 30 floats are expected for the parade and those who haven’t registered yet can do so on the day it takes place.
The RCMP and other organizations will be part of the parade and Sanchez encourages parents to have bags available for their children when the candy is tossed.
The parade will start and end at the Centre Chevaliers. See the map in this week’s paper for more.
For more information or to register, call Sanchez at (780) 837-4386.
