Obituary – Rejeanne Ouellet passes away at the age of 79 years

Rejeanne Ouellet
1938 – 2018
Rejeanne Ouellet, longtime resident of Falher, passed away on June 12, 2018 in McLennan at the age of 79 years.

Rejeanne was born on July 14, 1938 in McLennan, Alberta.

She is predeceased by her parents Alphonse and Blanche Loiseau; sister Margaret; and brothers Fernand, Denis and Roger.

Rejeanne is survived by her husband Claude, son Marcel of Ft. McMurray, daughters Claudette (Glen) of Edmonton, Lynn (Darcy of High Prairie), granddaughter Jody of Nova Scotia, grandsons Derek and Dallin of Edmonton and Cody of Falher as well as 2 great-grandsons in Nova Scotia.

Rejeanne’s proudest achievement was finding her sister. Finding her sister became a mission for her. She was sad that she did not have a sister while growing up, only brothers.

She knew she had an older sister who had been adopted as a newborn and desperately wanted to find her. She did some research with the Provincial Government and after a time located her sister, Margaret, in Calgary.

Relationships were made with all family members.

In her younger years Rejeanne was very athletic and strong. These abilities were taken away from her at a young age. She had many medical challenges which robbed her of leading a normal life.

Mom, we are happy that you are no longer suffering and have gone to a better place!

Always in our hearts!

Claude, Claudette, Lynn and families
