Paula Limoges of Girouxville passed away at McLennan at the age of 89.
Paula was born on the family farm in Girouxville, Alberta to Paul and Emilie (Vos) Bourgeois.
She attended Girouxville School, and then took a two-year course in Home Economics at Olds College.
In 1946, she married the love of her life Ernest Limoges and together they raised four sons. They farmed till Ernest’s passing in 1978 and she then moved to Falher.
She worked at the Falher IDA Drug store for 12 years, and then moved to Grande Prairie, working at Walmart as a greeter for seven years, before retiring back to Falher in 2012.
Left to mourn are Robert of Grande Prairie; Hector of Calgary; Marcel (Cheryl) of McLennan; Daniel (Roseanne) of Girouxville; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous as well as nieces and nephews. Paula is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Emilie Bourgeois; sisters, Lucie St. Andre (Roger) and Suzanne Tanasichuck (Andy); and brother, Robert.
In respect to Paula’s wishes, no formal service will be held. Cremation with inurnment will be held at a later date.
