Long-time resident of Falher, Alberta, surrounded by the love of her family, Josette Thériault-Gaudet passed away at the Sacred Heart Community Health Centre in McLennan, Alberta on February 18, 2016, at the age of 58 years. She moved to Falher, Alberta for a teaching career in the later 1970s; she was a native of Baie-Ste-Anne, New Brunswick.
A memorial service took place on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Paroisse Ste-Anne Parish, Falher, Alberta. Interment of Josette’s remains is to take place at a later date, in Baie-Ste-Anne, New Brunswick.
Josette leaves behind her husband Jean-Claude; children Sébastien of Pointe-Sapin, NB, Annie (Jean Schofield) of Irishtown, NB and Patrick of Edmonton, AB; two grandchildren Joelle and Thomas; five (5) brothers: Rosaire, Hermyle, Henri (Michelle), Dollard, Aquila (Lisa); seven (7) sisters: Jeanne-Mance (Jean-Claude), Solange, Huguette (Charles), Reine, Félixine, Blanche (Bernard), Michelle (Francine). She was predeceased by her son Jérémie in 1988, her parents Adé and Rita, as well as her brothers Adé Jr. and Egide.
Memorial donations may be made to a cancer charity of one’s choice.
