Irene Faye Lemoine (nee Pazuik), long time resident of Tangent passed away at the Central Peace Health Complex on July 24, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Irene was born June 16, 1954 in Grande Prairie to John and Fleurette Pazuik.

She was raised in Eaglesham on the farm with her sisters Doris and Jeanette.

She graduated from Eaglesham high school in 1972 and married Lawrence Lemoine in 1973.

They had Jennifer while living in Eaglesham in 1976 and once they moved to Tangent, they welcomed Terina in 1978.

Irene stayed very busy on the farm growing amazing gardens and looking after her girls.

She enjoyed taking meals to Lawrence in the fields, moving machinery and managing many aspects of farm life.

She spent many hours on the road driving the girls to piano and guitar lessons, as well as volleyball and hockey tournaments.

Irene enjoyed countless birthday parties with family and friends, always finding a reason to get together and visit.

She loved volunteering her time at the Tangent Social Club, working on fundraisers, and making numerous visits to In The Woods Animal Rescue to help at the animal shelter.

Irene’s summers were spent in her motorhome at the lake enjoying time with her grandchildren fishing, swimming, even tubing behind the boat.

She was a Grandma that would try it all.

In the fall she had a large garden to harvest.

There was always plenty of garden produce for family and friends. Her salsa and pickles were well-known with many asking for the recipe.

Irene’s smile and laughter will be dearly missed by her husband, children, family, and friends.
