McLennan library wraps up Food 4 Fines and now offers Tumblebooks online

Tom Henihan

McLennan Municipal Library recently wrapped up its annual Food 4 Fines campaign.
Throughout the month of November, library patrons had the opportunity to have overdue fines forgiven in exchange for donating to the Food Bank.
Isabelle Dubrule from FCSS, came by the McLennan Library to pick up the donations on Thursday December 3.
Another interesting development within the Peace Library System is that library members and those who visit the public library can now access TumbleBooks, an innovative online resource appropriate for kids’ grades k to 6.
TounbleBooks offers animated e-books, chapter books, graphic novels, videos, storybooks, puzzles and games.
An ideal resource for teachers or parents and is a valuable addition to the already extensive selection of online resources available through the McLennan Library or any library within the Peace Library System.
