W.H. Fish Arena off-season rate
Council approved a rate of $500 per day for the off-season rental of the H.W. Fish Arena. The off-season rate does not include the upstairs of the facility.
McLennan Library requests handicapped parking
The McLennan Municipal Library requested that the Town consider allocating a handicapped parking zone in front of the town office building. Council has tabled the item to allow administration to do further research on the matter.
Peace River Economic Development
A motion was passed to renew the PREDA membership for 2016 at a cost of $647.20.
Show n’ Shine at College Meadows Field
Approval was given to the McLennan & District Chamber of Commerce to use the College Meadows field for a Show n’ Shine June 2016.
Alberta Urban Municipalities Association Convention
Council approved to send two members of Council and the CAO to the October 2016 AUMA Convention in Edmonton.
Ecole Providence
Development Permit
Council approved a development permit application from Ecole Providence to allow a clothing warehouse in a portion of the vacant west wing of the school.
Travel Regulation
Council approved a travel regulation policy for council and employees.
Letter of Support for Rural Physician
Action Plan
Council approved sending a letter of support for the Rural Physician Action Plan Program.
Lakeshore Burn
Council requested that administration send a request to have the lakeshore burned this spring.
