Masvikeni new secretary-treasurer

The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) welcomes Nick Masvikeni as the new secretary-treasurer.

He started Aug. 17, says a news release July 30.

“I feel humbled to have been entrusted with this opportunity to serve the HFCRD community and God.,” Masvikeni says.

“I look forward to starting this new position.”

He comes with many years of work in the field.

“Nick brings a wealth of experience to the role,” Supt. Betty Turpin says.

“He has demonstrated proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, financial management, accounting, financial reporting, performance management, internal controls, auditing and corporate secretarial.

“I look forward to working with Nick and welcoming him to Peace River.”

Masvikeni is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who is currently the business manager at Edmonton Catholic School Division and has held several senior financial leadership roles in both the private and public sectors in a career spanning over 15 years.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA), both from the University of Zimbabwe.

Masvikeni is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. He served his articles with Deloitte & Touché.

Nick and his wife Dorothy have three children.
