Local author publishes her fourth novel, “Twin Destinies”

Local author, Lauretta Beaver recently published her fourth book, Twin Destinies.

Beaver, who was born in New Brunswick has live most of her life in Alberta, spending the last thirty years in various parts of the Peace River region, moving to Falher five years ago when she married Michel Pelletier.

Beaver has two adult daughters, a stepdaughter and two stepsons and has four grandsons, along with step-grandsons and step-granddaughters.

Twin Destinies is set in the Quebec north west and as the title implies, the storyline involves the fate of twins brothers Spirit Bear and Matchitehew who have become estranged due to an earlier tragedy.

Beaver produces two series: the White Buffalo series which includes Passionate Alliance and Raven and the Golden Eagle are in the Western genre.

The Celtic Dragon Medallion series is in the Fantasy category and includes Dream Dancer and the Celtic Witch and Twin Destinies.

Beaver is currently working on a third book in the Fantasy series called The Seeker and the Shadow Hunter.
