Smoky River KidSport will host an adults-only hockey tournament fundraiser in February.
The KidSport Committee met at the Falher town office during the evening of November 20 to plan the event.
Chairperson Lynn Farrell says the event will be held at the Falher Regional Recreation Complex from February 1-3, 2019.
The event will comprise four co-ed teams who are guaranteed three games each, and it will be the same for the six competitive teams. The registration fee is $800 per team.
The evening of February 1 will be “wing night,” and February 2, a silent auction will be held.
The committee is looking for volunteers and silent auction items. All of the proceeds from the event will go to Smoky River KidSport.

Smoky River Kidsport will hold their next meeting at 7 p.m. on December 11, at the town office and the public is invited to attend.
