Week three kicks off in Donnelly. During this week of July 18-21, the theme is ‘Kids in the Kitchen’.
Youth will spend the four days full of cooking and baking in the food lab at the Georges P. Vanier School.
Youth will also go swimming at the Falher Regional Pool.
Imagine all of the great esteem building and life skills that the youth will be engaging in all the while having fun and meeting other youth from all over the region.
This year our coordinator, Melanie Blanchette, is bilingual which assists our youth who speak French as their first language an all-around experience. Meagan Aubin is our assistant and also speaks French and has experience with youth programs.
The 2016 team is in place to ensure your youth have a positive experience in the summer programs.
Our four-day summer programs normally run Monday to Thursday, except for the week of Aug. 2-5 in McLennan, which runs from Tuesday to Friday, due to the long weekend. Cost is $50 per youth.
Our first one-day horse program is on July 22 at the Northbase Ranch for youth ages 6-12. This day will be full of fun esteem building activities including pony rides, petting zoo, and scavenger hunt, crafts, cooking on the campfire and much, much more, for a cost of $50, which includes transportation, snacks and lunch.
The other one-day horse program is on Aug. 19 at the EC Bar Ranch east of High Prairie, for youth ages 10-15.
