Junior GPV Vipers teams win against Gift Lake Hurricanes

The Georges P. Vanier Vipers junior basketball teams were victorious on Jan. 24.

They hosted the Gift Lake Hurricanes in the afternoon.

The girls played first and the game was very close. The lead passed from one team to the other continuously.

Both teams fought hard for control of the ball and there were many steals and intercepts throughout.

However, the Vipers pulled ahead in the fourth quarter and won the game by a score of 44-35.

The boys’ game went in a similar manner. Only in the fourth quarter was the outcome decided.

The Vipers pulled ahead strongly and won this game by score of 59-34.
