The Falher Curling Club has commenced its youth program, which is being held at the Falher Curling Rink every Tuesday night.

The program started on November 13 and will finish on February 26, 2019.

Coaches Darcy Boisvert and Whitney Boisvert are leading the program this season.

“We’re starting with the basics of curling – the rules, terms, and sliding and sweeping techniques,” says Coach Darcy Boisvert.

“Later, we will go on to game play and strategy.”

Sixteen children are registered in the program, which is open to ages 9-18. However, more registrations will be accepted.

The fee is $80 per child and each child must have clean shoes and stretchy pants to play. Sliders and brooms are provided.
