Several students and one teacher attended a national conference in Calgary during October 5-7.

The 70th edition of the conference of l’ACELF (Association candienne d’éducation de langue française) saw 500 teachers and youth gather under the theme of « Francosphère : agir, créer et penser en français! »

Our delegates included two Grade 9 students Alexanne Fillion and Aaqilah Charron (circled in the above photo).

Grade 11 student Nadia Sylvain, (in the photo at right, she is the keyboard) performed at the gala on Friday evening, with the Équipe Alberta musical group that competed at the Francophone Games in Moncton, New Brunswick last July.

Our teacher, Jessica Guignard-Mallet, attended the conference. She attended for several reasons, including the ‘Escape Room’ francosphère musicale.
