The Smoky River Agriculture Society grounds by Donnelly were busy during the weekend of July 9-10 for the annual gymkhana event. Riders came from all over B.C. and Alberta to participate. It consisted of competitions like stakes, barrel racing, pole bending, keyhole and flags. The top seven winners received horse blankets as part of their prizes.
