Jackie Hockey, Chair
Falher Regional Intermunicipal Library Board
Falher Library/Bibliothèque Dentinger
Principal Robert (Bob) Owens and his staff are committed to providing an excellent start to learning, to help ensure Success for Every Student.
To help meet these goals, they have renewed their partnership with the Falher and McLennan public libraries for another year.
The school provides FREE public library cards to students families, to:
. Promote literacy in our region, because the entire family can access books, e-books, audio books and online databases available through the public libraries; and to
. Further support our children and youth where they live – by giving them access to current, reliable educational resources 24/7, to help them pursue their dreams and achieve their scholastic goals.
For 2016-7, Principal Owens has extended the scope of this partnership to include the students of École Routhier, for a one year pilot program to provide these same benefits to younger families (Grades K-6).
École Routhier Principal Diane Benoit is very supportive of this program, and looks forward to having her students have access to more French and English resources – especially TumbleBooks!
GPV and Routhier families have until March 31, 2017 to take advantage of this gift, so you can make sure to have access to all the Libraries have to offer all summer long!
For more information, please speak to the school librarians, or contact the McLennan (780) 324-3767 or Falher (780) 837-2776 libraries directly.
On behalf of G.P. Vanier and École Routhier Staff, and both libraries; to all Vanier and Routhier families – We Wish You a Very Merry Christmas and Happy Reading!
