High Prairie School Division has appointed Rod Geyer as the new director of finance.
He succeeds Murray Marran who became the new divisional principal of accountability.
Geyer is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta and has his CMA designation (CPA, CMA).
He has his Diploma of Applied Arts Business Administration – Accounting from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Geyer previously served as a director of corporate accounting for Lillydale Inc., a senior manager of finance for Epcor Distribution and Transmission, and the associate director of financial services for Grant MacEwan University.
He has been a consultant and contract accountant since 2009.
