The gym at Ecole Heritage was the scene of a big garage sale on May 9 and 10.

Many people donated to the event, including kitchen items, clothes, toys, etc.

Anita Anctil, the president of the parent council, is pleased that they raised $2,500 from the event.

“We’re very happy,” says Anctil.

“It was a little more than last year, so that was good.”

The money raised will go towards the student council and the school’s legacy fund.

Anctil says they want to host the garage sale at the school again next year.

Principal Nicole Walisser commends all who supported the garage sale.

“École Héritage is thankful to its families who continue to donate items to our garage sale. This year the school raised $2,500 towards the Fonds de dotation de l’école Héritage (Cultural Legacy Fund).

“Our school community is built on strong and dedicated families that support francophone education. We are very fortunate to have great partners in education.”
