Freson Bros. to donate $116,898.54 to Red Cross

Through the tremendous acts of generosity and kindness of the communities in which they operate, Freson Bros. is extremely proud to announce they, along with their great customers and supportive team members, have raised $58,449.27 for the Red Cross to assist the displaced residents of Fort McMurray.

In light of the overwhelming generosity and support from its store communities, the Freson Bros. Family will match all donations received for a total contribution of $116,898.54.

“We cannot say thank you enough to our valued customers and team members for their time, dedication and donations to support the Red Cross. It has been extremely heart-warming to witness communities band together, which we hope serves as a reminder that those affected are not alone and we Albertans stand together,” says Mike Lovsin, chairman Freson Bros.

The funds will be used to help tens of thousands of Fort McMurray residents recover from disaster and return to their families, friends and neighbourhoods.

Red Cross funds provide supplements for food, clothing, medical equipment, household goods, transportation and occupational items to help people return to work.

Freson Bros. commends the first responders, volunteers and Red Cross for all the effort they have and will put forth assisting with this emergency situation.
