On June 30, we will be saying farewell to our Administrative Assistant Isabelle Dubrule.

Isabelle has been with Smoky River Family and Community Support Services since September of 2002 and has provided many years of exceptional service to the many residents in our community. She provided bilingual services to
Individuals, families, low-income and seniors in the following areas: Provincial Grants for Seniors (AB Special Needs Assistance); Federal Forms (OAS, CPP, EI); Food Bank Application Forms (Collaboration with the High Prairie Food Bank); Individual Budgeting Strategy (one on one) ; organization of the Red Cross Babysitter Course; Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVIT); Monthly Newsletter for Seniors; Community Transportation Program (Scheduled trips, Medical trips, private and organization rentals); Supportive Listening (basic counselling); Christmas Voucher Program and office Administration support amongst other services throughout the years.

Isabelle provided her services three days a week from September to June in the Town of Falher FCSS office Wednesday and Friday and at the Town of McLennan FCSS office on Thursdays. We thank you for your many years of dedication and service to our program and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours!

Summer Youth Programs: Don’t forget to register your youth ages 6-12 for the regular four-day program or youth ages 10-15 for the one day horse program, as well as youth ages 6-12 for the other one day horse program. Contact the office today!
