Lots of people converged at the Park Regalo in Donnelly on Feb. 15 to take in the Family Day activities.
The Donnelly recreation board organized the event and accepted donations as part of the festivities.

“(We want) families to come out and utilize the facilities and create interest in the park,” says president Pauline Therriault.

“It gives us something to do, too,” she added, referring to her family.

The event, now in its third year, included wagon rides around the village, roasting hot dogs over an open fire and hot chocolate, sliding down a snow bank and skating on an outdoor rink. Derek Gravel provided the wagon rides and created the outdoor rink.
