During their meeting on Oct. 5, the council for the Town of Falher gave all three readings to a code of conduct bylaw.
The bylaw falls under the provincial Municipal Government Act, for councillors to follow.
Pool wages for 2018-2020
Council approved the wage grid for the Falher Regional Pool, for 2018-2020.
2017-18 Season Kitchen Proposal
Council approved Pae-Su Simard’s proposal to run the kitchen at the Falher Regional Recreation Complex for 2017-2018.
Security camera purchase
Council passed a motion to purchase two-pack Nest Cam Outdoor surveillance cameras for $448, with the basic option of $100 per year and that the purchase and installation be funded through the Crime prevention reserve $3,060.00.
Waste and water commission agreements for 2018
Council approved an administration service agreement with the Smoky River Waste Commission in the amount of $6,510 for 2018.
Council also approved an administration service agreement with the Smoky River Water Commission in the amount $3,965 for 2018.
Signage
Council approved a motion to increase the annual maintenance of free standing signs to $35 for 2018.
