Grandma’s Den has a new drop-off bin to use, courtesy of four Grade 9 students at Ecole Heritage.

“They were happy to donate their time to this project, which helps a community organization,” says CTS teacher Marc Belley.

Grandma’s Den requested that Ecole Heritage build them a new drop-off bin.

The students – Adrien Houle, Riley Labrecque, Blake Lambert and Jonah Maisonneuve – were the students who did the work. They spent 12 hours on the project, starting in late April and finishing on June 24.

They built a six-by-ten foot structure, which includes a chute to put the items in.

The project gave the students important trades training, adds Belley.

UFA Farm & Ranch Supply donated the materials and the transportation for the project.
