Ecole Routhier holds Jump Rope for Heart

It's not as easy as you might think. Double jump roping was offered as of the activities, in the main gym.

Students at Ecole Routhier got plenty of exercise in the afternoon of May 27, as the school held the annual Jump Rope for Heart.

Following the monthly assembly, the Grade 5 students led all the others in the lower grades for warmups. (The Grade 6 students were on a field trip then.)

Then the students went rotated through stations around the school to participate in skipping.

All students raised money for the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation. Look for a separate story in next week’s paper.
