The Georges P. Vanier senior boys’ curling team was the wildcard for the ASAA High School Provincial Curling Championships, and Coach Dave Pedden prepared his novice team accordingly.

“They faced very competitive curling teams and we had a relatively new team,” says Pedden.

“This tournament was about giving them experience,” he adds.

This event was held in St. Albert during March 1-3.

There were 10 teams, one team per zone, and they were divided into two pools.

The ASAA High School Provincial Curling Championships was the last of the season.

Coach Dave Pedden says their participation in St. Albert was meant to give them valuable experience for future events.
