McLennan town council has agreed to pay $2,056.60 as part of its Emergency Fire Dispatch Agreement[911 Call Centre] in 2021.

Council did note the agreement calls for a four per cent increase in each of the next five years, which is the term of the agreement.

Council was slightly concerned about the four per cent increase and wondered why, but still decided to approve the agreement.

Councillor Dwayne Stout noted the four per cent increase allowed the company to give its staff raises each year.

Council values the service.
