Club Alouette holds annual general meeting

During their annual general meeting on March 11, members of the Club Alouette in Falher voted to keep their annual membership at $25, the same as for 2015.
Following the dinner, members heard Diane Dentinger read the minutes of the 2015 AGM. Members then passed a motion approving the minutes.
Dentinger also read the 2015 financial report. Then a motion was passed to approve it.
A motion was also passed to appoint Reg Bouchard and Therese Gosselin as the verifiers for the 2016 financial reports. The election of the officers was also held. Florence Lamarche and Roger Bugnet were elected for three-year terms.
Other activities at the Club Alouette
The Club Alouette hosted their annual Seniors Fun Day on March 3.
It featured a cribbage tournament, snooker pool and carpet bowling.
The winners were:
. Cribbage, Annette Blanchette and Katie Anderson (first); Colette Pele and Ray St. Jean (second); and Doris Benoit and Leon Hebert (third).
. Carpet bowling, Marie Ouellette, Roger Lambert, Cecile Lambert and Rita St. Arnault (first); Jeanette Cinq-Mars, France Duquette, Florence Lamarche and Gertrude Levasseur (second); and Diann Rondeau, Cecile Dickner, Pierrette L’abbe and Paul Dubrule (third).
. Snooker pool, Normand Perry (first), Raymond Briand (second) and Marcel Bedard (third).
