The Christmas spirit is in the air and nowhere was this more evident than at the Villa Beausejour in Falher during the evening of December 8.

Approxmiately 300 people, residents and their families, attended the Christmas party, which featured dinner and an appearance by Santa.

Says CAO Lindsay Pratt for Heart River Housing:

“It’s so rewarding when their families share this event with us. The staff go over and above for the residents. It helps to keep our seniors young and vibrant.”

The traditional feast of turkey, mashed potatoes, home-made stuffing and dessert were served. Soon after dinner, Santa appeared and he announced the names of residents for their Christmas presents, which members of the Heart River Housing board handed out.

Later, the Goodtimers performed for the 300 guests. Look for more photos and some videos at our website, smokyriverexpress.com.
