The murder trial for John Edward Chomiak has been delayed to Aug. 8.
It was originally to start in Peace River on April 25, after a judge agreed late last year to grant Chomiak his most recent extension.
Chomiak is accused of murdering his ex-wife wife, Melody Perry, and her daughter, Jerica Bouchard, in December 2010.
He has been charged with first-degree murder in their deaths. Their bodies were found at a house near Falher after police went to investigate over a disconnected 911 call.
