Celebrate Canada Day in Falher and McLennan

Visitor Information Centre in Falher
The public is invited to celebrate Canada Day at the Visitor Information Centre in Falher this Friday.
The event starts at 11 a.m. and will finish by 3 p.m. The Red Hatters will be there to sing, and Jean-Marc Roussin will hold a horse demonstration. There will also be children’s games and draws for prizes.
Hamburgers and hot dogs will be for sale, but the prices will include a soft drink.

Kimiwan Birdwalk, McLennan
Kimiwan Bird Walk Interpretive Centre will begin its Canada Day celebrations with the flag raising ceremony at 11 a.m. Following the flag raising, cake and juice will be served with games for children also being offered.
Summer hours will also commence at Kimiwan Interpretive Centre on July 1, with the centre open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
