Tickets for a black powder cannon are now available to purchase for the High Prairie Gun and Sportsman Show.
The cannon will actually fire and is valued at $2,500. Tickets are available for $10 each from members of the High Prairie Fish and Game Association. The 15th annual show will be held in the Sports Palace, Gordon Buchanan Recreation Centre and the curling rink.

There will be 50/50 draws both days and as in previous years, there will be a three-gun raffle. First prize is a Beretta A391 XTREMA Camo 12-gauge shotgun, second prize is a Remington 700 SPS Wood Tech 7mm Magnum with a Zeiss 4-12 power scope and third prize is a Henry Golden Boy .22 LR lever action rifle.
There is also a separate raffle for two bows. The first prize is a Hoyt Charger ZRX 70# bow with case (adult), second prize is a Hoyt Ignite Red 15-70# bow with case (youth), and third prize is an archery range finder.
Tickets for both raffles are $5 each and can be purchased from members of the High Prairie Fish and Game Association as well.
All the draws will be made after the show closes on April 17, but you don’t have to be present to win.
