Alberta Summer Games in Leduc

Cole Bremont was one of 28 swimmers chosen to represent Zone 8 at the Alberta Summer Games in Leduc. Swimmers aged 12 to 15, from around the province competed in a two day swim meet at the Leduc Recreation Center.

To be eligible to compete at the summer games, each swimmer had to be chosen at the zone tryouts for their zone. Competition was fierce as swimmers from both winter programs and summer programs competed for the honor. The coaches chosen to represent each zone then entered their swimmers and teams in the many events.

Although Cole did not receive any medals at the Summer Games, he did achieve personal best times for each of the events he entered. This is a great achievement and an indication of how hard he worked to prepare for the games. The events and the results of Cole’s participation in the games are as follows:
