The Smoky River Agricultural Society (SRAS) proudly took delivery of their “new to you” tractor on April 13th, 2016.

Martin Deerline Sales Representative Clarissa Alguire delivered the unit which will be used by the SRAS to help with the many functions and services provided by the Society.

The tractor will be used for maintenance at the Donnelly fairgrounds, including grass cutting of the grounds and the Society’s ball diamond.

In addition, the unit will be used to help with pit preparation for the annual mud bogs, general cleanup of the grounds, maintenance of the track and barrel racing area for gymkhanas and to move bales for the gymkhanas and horse boarding service. Up to 15 horses can be boarded at the Donnelly grounds year round.

The tractor will be also used to move the grandstands to ensure best viewing at the various functions: gymkhanas, mud bogs, demolition derbies, the agricultural fair, ball games, etc.

The tractor was purchased through Martin Deerline in Falher. The SRAS was very happy to support a local business with the purchase, as local businesses support the Society.
